Robert Easter Jr. returns home to Toledo

If someone hasn’t made this guy Toledo’s official Native Son yet, they ought to. Undefeated boxing legend-in-the-making, Robert Easter Jr., returns to his hometown to battle Russian, Denis Shafikov. Defending his IBF lightweight title and his 19-0 professional boxing record, 14 of Easter’s wins have come by knockout. An alternate on the U.S. Olympic boxing team in 2012 and trained by his father, a former boxer, Easter Jr. is looking to put Toledo on the boxing map. Shafikov’s record is 38-2-1.
