Beer for breakfast? It's kegs without the eggs. Black Isle Organic Brewery in Scotland debuted "Cold Turkey," a breakfast beer with lower alcohol content, earlier this year.
According to the website, "it has all the malty taste of multigrain cereal, a refreshing grapefruit flavour coming through the hops gives it a fruity character, and to finish it off the heavy roasted barley gives a subtle coffee edge to the overall taste to this all day breakfast in a pint."
What a protein shake is to fitness gurus, Cold Turkey is to hardcore Scottish Rugby fans. But I'm sure there are plenty of American football fans who would be willing to crack one open a few hours before kick off at noon. More
