Alpaca your bags, the Barnyard is coming to the Zoo

A new exhibit at the Toledo Zoo, once the park opens this summer, will bring a bit of the farm. The Nancy L. and Martin Davidson Barnyard is a new interactive experience for zoogoers to see, pet and feed farm animals such as goats, pigs, alpacas and more. The year-round exhibit is the latest tenant in the Zoo’s Lodge building, which previously housed the 1988 exhibition of a pair of giant pandas from China. Admission to the Barnyard will be included with the price of a ticket. The Toledo Zoo remains closed under the state’s Coronavirus restrictions, with no set reopening date announced.
