Tormé Sings Tormé

With the passing of Mel Tormé, an iconic singer and songwriter, his gifted voice is missed. Responsible for such hits as “The Christmas Song” (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire) and “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” his music lives on. His son, Steve March Tormé, a gifted singer himself, has taken up the microphone to carry on his father’s legacy.

Tormé Sings Tormé will be a lively jazz concert with the Toledo Jazz Orchestra, utilizing the original arrangements Mel recorded. An ode to a great entertainer, jazz fans aren’t going to want to miss this.

8pm. Saturday, January 14. $25-$35.
The Valentine Theatre
410 Adams St., 419-242-2787.
