Asheville, North Carolina-based rock quintet Jahman Brahman self-describes its sound as “shred and flow rock”—which is about as accurate a description as you’re gonna get. Formed in Columbus in 2003, the band’s sound encompasses so many genres that it would be impossible to list them all here. On Thursday, November 21 they bring their high-energy brand of improvisational rock and roll to the Village Idiot for a night of face-melting jams. Expect funky instrumental passages along with excellent vocals and even some electronica—don’t forget your dancing shoes.
