33rd Black History Month Blues Series in Monroe

The longest-running blues celebration in Michigan reaches its climax on Saturday, February 29. The 33rd Black History Month Blues Series began on February 4 in Monroe, featuring a series of free concerts around the city. It all culminates with “The Big Gig!”, headlined by Detroit’s “Queen of the Blues” Thornetta Davis and Chicago’s Toronzo Cannon.
