Community Health Fair for Minority Health Month

April is Minority Health Month, and this year’s theme is “Accelerating Health Equity for the Nation.” To help reduce the health disparities that continue to impact racial and ethnic minorities, Nuestra Gente Community Projects Inc., will host a Community Health Fair (Feria de Salud). This free event will offer blood pressure, diabetes, weight, height, BMI, cholesterol, HIV, and other checks, as well as information on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
