A Perrysburg favorite, Lupita’s Cantina, 209 Louisiana Ave., has many events planned to keep customers coming back.
Lupita’s monthly tequila tasting is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27 at 8 pm. Tickets for a tasting are $40 and include 10 tequila tastings and food. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the restaurant during their business hours at 419-936-4611.
This month’s tasting is extra special due to the generous contributions from the numerous tequila houses including Aman Tequila who substantially contributed to the event.
Tequilas offered at the January tequila tasting include Jose Cuervo Tradicional, Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia, Volcan Tequila, Tequila Tres Generaciones, Tequila Centenario, El Mayor Tequila, Cenote Tequila, Casa Del Sol Tequila, Astral Tequila and Aman Tequila.
While trying the various tequila attendees will discuss what Tequila Additives are and how to detect them.
Special gifts from Number JUAN Tequila and Crystal Head Vodka, the first vodka made with Agave, will also be given to attendees.

Tickets for their February tasting, Saturday, Feb. 24 at 8 pm, are also available for purchase on the website.
Lupita’s has also added live music to their weekly calendar. Every Wednesday, see the 2022 Best of Toledo Blues/Jazz Artist runner-up, Abbigale Rose, perform live from 6 pm to 9 pm. Listen to Rose’s outstanding voice while sipping on your favorite drinks for a discounted price.
Enjoy a House Margarita, Barrons Margarita or Local Crafted Beer for just $4.99 or grab a bottle of Domestic beer for $2.99. Patrons can also grab the delicious Rock Club Nachos for a discounted price of $8.50 on Wednesdays. Lupita’s updates its Facebook daily for specials offered that day.
