September 5K Races Offer Opportunities to Run, Walk and Give Back
Runners and walkers can hit the trails, support important causes and enjoy community events with several 5K races happening throughout September. Sign up online for 5Ks. The month’s lineup includes:
• Oak Openings Stampede 5K at Oak Openings Metropark, Sun., Sept. 13, 9 am.
• Heal Together Race for Sickle Cell 5K Run/Walk at Ottawa Parkway Toledo, Sun., Sept. 19 at 8am.
• 5K Beer Run/Walk at Brewing Green on Sat. Sept. 19, 11 am.
Community Drum Circle Brings Rhythm and Connection to Toledo
Experience the power of music and community at the Community Drum Circle at Pura Vida Wellness Studio. Guests are encouraged to bring a drum or any percussion instrument.
