Since 2008, Riverside Kayak Connection has been teaming up with the Detroit Eastside Community Collaborative for the popular Detroit Historical Canal Tour series. See the Fisher Mansion, hear stories of the Purple Gang, check out the friendly residents of Detroit’s “Little Venice,” and see the Motor City’s downtown like never before during one of the two-hour tours held this summer. The first tour launches on Saturday, May 19, with additional tours planned most Saturdays and Sundays through September 9.
