LeSo Gallery will feature a series of 17 panels of folded paper and pencil drawings for the exhibit, Autism, A Mexican Adventure. Cleveland-based artist Craig Matis, using his experience of raising a special needs child, creates a surrealistic, visual narrative, portraying  a father taking his autistic son on a mystical dream journey through Mexico as a way to cope with the recent death of his wife in America.

Attend the artist reception Saturday May 10, from 7-9pm. Gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays 12-4pm. Closing Reception/artist talk,  Saturday May 24 from 7-9pm. LeSo Gallery, 1527 Starr Ave. lesogallery.com. Free
