The convergence of art and technology is the inspiration for the juried exhibition, Zeroes and Ones: Computer Generated Art, hosted in the Toledo Museum of Art’s Community Gallery. Recognizing the various forms of computer-generated work, area artists were invited to express themselves with modern technology such as digital illustrations, sculptures using 3-D printers, installations incorporating technology and short (under 3 minute) videos. The show runs from Friday, May 16, through Thursday, September 18, overlapping with the upcoming summer exhibition, The Art of Video Games, which will celebrate video games as another digital form of creative expression.
An opening reception will be held Friday, May 18 from 6-7pm. Toledo Museum of Art, 2445 Monroe St. 419-255-8000. toledomuseum.com Free
