As the crew from Eye Open Pictures brainstormed DVD cover design ideas for the upcoming release of Frankenstein, a light bulb came on—they have an entire community of local artists as collaborators. The Swanton film production company has announced a competition for graphic designers and visual artists to create the cover for their autumn Frankenstein DVD release. Promotional
stills have been posted on their website to spark ideas, but they are open to any concept. The deadline is June 24, and the top four winners’ artwork will be displayed at the theatrical opening in July. Other favorites will appear on the inside case sleeve.
