Get empowered! Fifth Third Bank and Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union have partnered with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library to host Financial Empowerment Nights. The financial planning seminars are held on Monday evenings from 6-7:30pm to inspire Toledoans to take control of their finances. Budgeting, credit scores and credit repair are topics covered in the sessions. Mortgage lenders, realtors and insurance specialists are also on hand to offer advice and to answer questions. Sessions continue on Monday, April 18, with “Credit Repair: Building A Better Credit Report” and on Monday, April 25, with “Home Ownership.” Workshops are held at the Mott branch of TLCPL at 1085 Dorr St. Call Brooke at 419-259-7817 to register. www.toledolibrary.org
