Best Place To Take Your Secret Lover

Dorr Street Cafe

Sure, it's got great neighborhood atmosphere and a killer menu — definitely a step up from diner fare. But what better place to pass an illicit afternoon with someone special? Just maybe stay off the pleasant patio with a view of the street…

Best New Restaurant

Revolution Grille

The restaurant’s moniker is boastful, yes, but proprietor and chef Rob Campbell has earned his bragging rights. The unexpected take on American cuisine — the charred romaine salad tastes like a summer grill, in a good way — and the seasonal menu are two of its strengths. Its touchscreen tablet menus are a techno-touch in an otherwise classic, bistro-like setting. But Revolution Grille’s best asset is Campbell himself, who leaves no table of diners unvisited. He’s a restaurant owner with a sarcastic sense of humor and an easy way about him.
