The Lucas County Library is hosting the Community Leadership Series on Jan. 30 in the main library at 11:30 am. The speaker at this event will be Chrys Peterson, a leadership and communications consultant.
The Community Leadership series is sponsored by Leadership Toledo, KeyBank, First Energy Foundation and The Andersons, and looks to put a spotlight on great organizations and more specifically their leaders. The main way of showing this is by having guest speaker events.
Peterson has a bachelors degree in communications from James Madison University and a masters degree from Lourdes University.
Peterson was the main news anchor for WTOL for 20 years before starting her own consulting business in 2014. Peterson was also invited to be a consulting partner at Blanchard, a leadership training company considered to be one of the best in the world.
