Homage to Willys

Toledo School for the Arts’ first public exhibit featuring classic Willys-Overland vehicles. Toledo Jeep Fest and Toledo School for the Arts will also present Fragile/Not Fragile, a collaborative fine art project. Also on Saturday, Aug. 4 and Sunday, Aug. 5. Noon-7pm. Martin D. VIS-A-VIS Vol.1 Photography Exhibit

Four local Toledo area photographers come together to present a one-night event showcasing their work at The Switchboard downtown Toledo. Featured photographers Nick Amrhein @nickamphoto, Grant Beachy @grantbeachy, Josh Ball @vanity.studios, Rob Wagner @manoverboardimages. The exhibit will be on display in the gallery space of The Switchboard for 2 months. Loaded Gastro Food truck, DJ Ian Thomas and live music by Echo Record. 6pm-midnight. Hyter Portrait Group

Barrio Latino Art Festival

Barrio Latino Art Festival celebrates diversity, innovation and achievement. Composition and Perspective with Ed Kennedy

Composition is the structure used to unify a painting. This class will explore several common compositional armatures such as the “rule of thirds,” an “S curve,” a cross and a “Steelyard” and how to apply them in your own paintings. $75. Noon-3pm.
