Young Artists At Work Creative Premiere

Why bore your walls with mass-produced art when you could be adding the flair of young talent to your home’s decor? The Arts Commission’s Young Artists At Work (YAAW) program is busy involving area youth artists in a six-week program that will yield a large mural displayed at Wilson Park, as well as numerous art pieces, which will be available for purchase at the YAAW Creatives Premiere on Wednesday, August 2.

The mural, which consists of five panels, reflects images around the theme of Creative Peaceful Resistance. Check out the works, take a studio tour and enjoy a multimedia performance at the Peristyle Theatre.

5-7pm. Wednesday, August 2. 620 Grove Pl.
