The TPS Department of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is holding
a screening and discussion forum centered around the documentary Pushout: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools. Inspired by Monique W. Morris’ book of the same name, Pushout is a documentary centered on the disadvantages faced by black girls in society in education, and how a central misunderstanding of black girls’ lives lead to a disruption of one of the most critical times of their lives.
