The University of Toledo has selected “Cabaret,” one of the most beloved musicals of the 20th century, as its spring musical. The play details the ins-and-outs of the Kit Kat Klub, a seedy dive in Berlin. Unfortunately, it’s 1931 and the Nazis are gaining traction. The drama at the club mirrors the politics of Germany at the time—life really becomes a cabaret.
