Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic musical Jesus Christ Superstar first took to the stage in 1971. One of the most popular shows by the late, great composer Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a macabre musical about cutting hair, serving meat pies and seeking bloody revenge. Perrysburg Musical Theatre will open its 2022-23 season with a production of Sweeney, October 28-30, at the Juliet Beck Auditorium in the Commodore Building in downtown Perrysburg. 7pm, Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29. 2pm, Sunday, October 30. 140 E.
