Portraits of Toledo heroes

A sense of honor, pride and duty have provided Americans with a compunction to serve in the country’s military since the founding of the nation. From cities across the country, men and women have served their country with dignity. In his military veteran portrait series, Bravery & Bullets: Those Who Served to Protect Our County, local photographer Nick Amrhein honors Toledo’s military veterans. 4-10pm, Friday June 19. Free Admission, donations will be accepted to benefit the John D. Dingell Veterans Medical Center in Detroit.
