“Life is a Highway” Focuses on Art and American Car Culture

Start your engines, put the pedal to the metal and cruise over to the opening of Life Is a Highway: Art and American Car Culture exhibition. The exhibit will feature around 125 pieces in a variety of media, all of which bring to mind the importance of car culture to a sense of freedom and possibility that embody the American Dream. Peruse unique paintings, sculptures, films, and more “inspired by the lasting effect of the American automobile industry.”

Admission to the exhibition is free for Museum members and $12 for nonmembers, with discounts for seniors, college students, and military personnel ($10) and youth ages 5-17 ($7). Children four and younger receive free admission to the exhibition.
