History and art aficionados are sure to delight in this 2009 biopic following the lives of famed American artist Georgia O’Keeffe and her husband, photographer Alfred Stieglitz. Widely known as the Mother of American Modernism, Georgia’s work focused on beautiful landscapes, flowers and, controversially, the female anatomy as subtext. The film, titled Georgia O’Keeffe, was directed by Bob Balaban and features performances by Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons.
