Jules Webster: Impossible Perfection

Northwest Ohio Women’s Invitational Art Exhibition

In this exhibition, six wildly different female artists from northwest Ohio embody diversity in age, medium, style and subject matter resulting in a joyful and engaging experience. You can view the works by Carrie Day, Beth Genson, Sheilah Grogan, Camille Isaacs, Caroline Jardine and Katrina Niswander through Oct. 27. Joel Fremion: Fabric of the Midwest Public Reception
An exhibition of unique fabric collages by Indiana-based artist Joel Fremion entitled Fabric of the Midwest. With a background in painting, architecture and interior design, Fremion has developed his own tactile technique of combining fabric, leather and paint to create stunning landscapes and portraiture that capture our region’s culture and spirit. Plein Air in the Park
The Anthony Wayne Area Arts Commission is hosting this special opportunity to paint en plein air at Oak Openings Metropark. Take in autumn scenes, visit with fellow artists and sample delicious soups. All artists are invited to this free plein air experience. Check-in is located at Cannaley Treehouse Village. Art Hop is a typically quirky Ann Arbor event. A cross between an art walk and an art fair, Art Hop springs from Ann Arbor Michigan’s lovely historic West Side neighborhood. Local artists open their homes and studios to the public, and visiting artists share spaces in neighbors’ porches, garages, yards and businesses. Saturday, Oct. 21, 10am-5pm.
