Downtown Soon to Begin Drinking like UpTown

The Toledo City Council recently approved the designation of the city’s second Open Refreshment Area. Bounded by Lafayette, Erie, Adams, and Summit streets, the new ORA brings outdoor alcohol consumption to the area surrounding the Huntington Center, Fifth-Third Field and the Seagate Center. The new policy will allow the consumption of alcohol on city streets from 5pm-1am Monday through Friday, and Noon-1am on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
