8/19 Sandusky County Fair
A rodeo, antique tractors, tractor pulls, demolition derby, and music by the Allie & Rockers Band are among the highlights of the fair in Fremont.

8/5 Erie County Fair
Beautiful baby contests, a hypnotist, ventriloquist, truck pulls, a demolition derby and wildlife shows are all on tap at this popular fair in Sandusky. Through August 10.

8/8 Balloonfest
Watch the skies bloom with color as more than 50 hot-air balloons lift off from Emory Adams Park in Findlay. (No pets allowed in park.)

8/11 Huron County Fair
Entertainment will include Tyler Farr, magician Bobby Maverick, bluegrass music and more at the fair in Norwalk.

8/22 German American Festival
Authentic German food, beer and entertainment abound at this popular ethnic celebration.

8/8 Henry County Fair
Highlights of the 161st edition of the fair held in Napoleon will feature a parade, tractor and truck pulls, and music by Chase Rice.

8/15 Maumee Summer Fair and Taste of Maumee
The Maumee Summer Fair will house 150 arts and crafts booths, an antique car show, family entertainment and live bands. Rain or shine.

8/23 Rossford Riverfest
A community celebration sponsored by the Rossford Business Association and Recreation Department. Includes a Kids’ Zone, softball tournament, a dunking tank, food vendors, a beer garden, live music, and fireworks. 4-11pm.

8/10 25th Anniversary Festival of India
This year’s theme is My Big Fat Indian Wedding. Indian weddings are known for being colorful, musical and full of dance and lots of delicious food. The festival will have a wide variety of Indian street food and formal dances to entertain.

8/9 & 8/10 11th Annual Downtown Monroe Fine Art Fair & River Raisin Jazz Festival
Have fun in historic downtown Monroe, Michigan browsing the creative works of over 80 artists. A Children’s Corner will keep little ones entertained. Two blocks away is the River Raisin Jazz Festival.

8/17 Sunset Jazz and Arts Festival
This fantastic community event will feature performances from the Toledo School for the Arts, as well as many other local music acts, delicious food and a wide variety of local businesses to browse.
The festival will be in the park between the merchants on Front Street and the canal and the Maumee River in Grand Rapids. Free
8/27 – 9/1 Hancock County Fair
There is fun for the whole family at the Hancock County Fair! Check the Hancock Fairgrounds website for more information and a schedule of events. The fair runs until September 1. Daily Admission: $7 for one adult and their dependents 15 and younger.
