Super Classy Bluegrass 
The annual “Bluegrass in Superclass” festival begins its three-day run at Maumee Bay Lodge on January 6. Featuring the music of artists like the Jesse Alexander Band, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, the Junior Sisk Band and more, the event will leave you with your toes tapping and a smile on your face. La Janinah performs in the New Year
One of the most renowned musical voices in a generation will perform at the Toledo Peristyle when The Toledo Symphony presents “New Year, New World” on Saturday, January 15. The  performance will feature world famous soprano Janinah Burnett, nicknamed “La Janinah” by Italian Fans. The show will feature Antonín Dvořák’s “From the New World” and other numbers designed to spotlight America’s musical legacy. $22-52. 8pm. Welcome (back) to his nightmare
The Godfather of Shock Rock is coming to Toledo once more. The one and only Alice Cooper is returning to the Glass City for a gig at the Stranahan on Saturday, January 29.  Thrilling audiences for more than 50 years, Cooper’s blend of gothic theatricality and rock have made him a music icon.
