Jim Morrison Tribute Concert Supports Dyslexia Education in Toledo

For an unforgettable evening of music and community spirit join local restaurateur Phil Barone along with The Cruisers for a Jim Morrison Tribute Concert, benefiting the Dyslexia Education Training Center, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the historic Maumee Indoor Theatre. 

Phil Barone, owner of Rosie’s Italian Grille and Rosaria’s on Third Street, will embody Jim Morrison as lead vocalist alongside an ensemble of talented local musicians to transport attendees back to the era of The Doors, performing timeless hits that fans know and love.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and attendees can enjoy catered food available for purchase from Rosaria’s on Third Street and refreshments from cash bars. The evening will kick off at 7 p.m. with an opening act by Mikey “Blue” Barone, who will captivate the audience with his harmonica, guitar, and vocals. The main act, Phil Barone and The Cruisers, will take the stage at 8 p.m.

All proceeds from this inspiring event will benefit the Dyslexia Education Training Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping students from Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan overcome dyslexia by offering individualized instruction to teach students the skills they need to succeed.
