When The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuted in 1975, it was a box office flop, but as character Riff Raff said in the sexual sci-fi musical, “Time is fleeting…. madness takes its toll”— and yes, it certainly did. Eventually, the stage-musical-turned-film became a certified cult classic, and it’s hard to go through the Halloween season without a late-night showing of the haunting film. See the creepy, kooky and quirky film at the Michigan Theater while singing, dancing, and shouting along with the Leather Medusas, a group of University of Michigan students that are Rocky Horror fanatics. Follow the performance with an after party at Necto Nightclub. $8-$10.
