Dr. Hanshew will delve into the role of rural women in the American West and examine the cowgirl image within Western culture, feminism and history. TMA Poetry Prize Contest – Discover, Inspire, Create!
The Toledo Museum of Art invites local poets to submit their original poems inspired by the
Museum’s artwork. The contest is open to residents of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, with youth (ages 11-17) and adult (18+) categories.
