60cc Brewing is reopening at 2113 N. Reynolds Rd. under new ownership. The neighborhood craft brewery will bring a refreshed lineup of small-batch beers, hard seltzers and hard iced teas.

Harvest is opening its second location at 2701 Navarre Ave. in Oregon, taking over the former Head Shed building, renovating the space for its shop serving sandwiches, soups and craft beers.

Goodwill is closing their store at 2021 S. Reynolds Rd. and moving to 2450 S. Reynolds Rd.

The Glass Wheel opened at 1505 Adams St. in downtown Toledo, offering a curated selection of new and used books specializing in Occult, spiritual and weird content. A neighborhood to browse, trade and discover the next read. 

Just Skateboarding is relocating from its Perrysburg location(184 E South Boundary St.) to 617 Adams St. in downtown Toledo, with plans to expand the 30-year-old skate shop with larger retail space, an indoor skate ramp and a community gathering spot for local skateboarders.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio has opened at 5650 W. Central Ave., offering ballroom and social dance instruction for all experience levels.

Film Toledo has opened its new Creative Hub and office space in the Gardner Building at 500 Madison Ave., Suite 201 in downtown Toledo,  supporting the region’s film industry with resources, networking opportunities and events. 

The Northwood Flea Market is relocating from 2588 Woodville Rd to 5055 Jackman Rd (Miracle Mile Shopping Plaza) and rebranding as Glass City Marketplace.

Caregiver Grove has a new facility for developmentally disabled adults at 3545 Navarre Ave. in Oregon, converting a former insurance office into a space that will provide daily activities, social engagement, meals and support services.

Above Average Learning Center has opened at 5415 Secor Rd., Suites 3 and 4, offering 24-hour child care seven days a week, along with infant, toddler, daycare, before-and-after school programs and transportation services for enrolled children. 

Theralogica Wellness Center has opened at 2221 River Rd. in Maumee, transforming a former personal training studio into a renovated mental health counseling center offering in-office and telehealth therapy, with services provided by doctoral-level clinicians specializing in evidence-based behavioral health care.

Mi Casa Agave Cocina Mexicana has opened at 551 W. Dussel Dr. in Maumee after new ownership purchased the former Don Juan restaurant, rebranding the space while continuing to serve Mexican cuisine.

Finch & Fern Book Co. closed their current location, 5641 Main St. in Downtown Sylvania and relocated to Solstice A Salon, 5663 Main St., Sylvania, where customers can continue to connect with Finch & Fern Book Co. in its new space.

The Stable in Blissfield reopens at its historic location, 116 Main St., Blissfield, MI., after being closed for the last five years.

Sunrise Skillet, a popular breakfast spot, is opening a location in Perrysburg, with more information coming to their social media accounts closer to opening.

Soul Path Recovery Center, a nonprofit organization providing mental health and substance abuse recovery services, is now open at 2211 River Rd. in Maumee.

Howard’s Club H, 210 N. Main St. in Bowling Green, has new owners. Longtime staff members Jacob Fowler, Ellie Hart and Morgan Kesler acquired the historic and plan to preserve its legacy while expanding live music offerings and operating seven days a week. The grand reopening is scheduled for Aug. 14.

Funky Turtle Brewing Co. has opened its first permanent taproom at 1921 Tremainsville Rd. in West Toledo featuring craft beverages alongside drinks from other Northwest Ohio breweries and local artwork. The taproom is open daily from 12-10pm.

Smoothie King will open adjacent to Qdoba at 930 Alexis Rd.

Cherry Street Thrift, is open at 2559 S. Reynolds Rd. in Toledo’s Reynolds Plaza shopping center. All proceeds support the mission’s programs, including meals, housing and career training.

After more than 60 years in business, Betty Rumpf Interiors will permanently close its doors on Aug. 21, saying goodbye after serving generations of customers.

Holloway Beverage Center, 7130 Airport Hwy., Holland, has closed due to rising costs.

After more than five decades of serving Mexican food, Carmel’s Mexican Restaurant closed on Aug. 19.

XRHL roller hockey league has ceased operations.
