The starting center for the spring series of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Authors! Authors! is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar— a name not as well known in the publishing world as in professional basketball. One of the NBA’s greatest players, Abdul-Jabbar moved on to writing slam dunk books, earning acclaim as a New York Times best-selling author, for multiple titles including his children’s book, ‘Sasquatch in the Paint’.
