The Northwest Ohio Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a self-help bereavement organization, will host the 2-mile Walk To Remember event for dozens of grieving families to honor the memory of their deceased loved ones at noon on Saturday, October 13. TCF’s local chapter is part of a national support network for families trying to process the loss of a child, offering support during an often brutal experience. Participants in this year’s event will meet at Wildwood Metropark at noon.
