The fourth annual Toledo SOUP was a smashing success, raising more than $2,300 and funding two business proposals. The crowdfunding event awarded micro-grants to The Glass City Goat Gals, an urban goat farm; and New Life Urban Agriculture, a grower and seller of organic mushrooms. More than 100 community members attended and voted on which proposal should receive a grant. This year’s competition was the first tie in event history.

The next Toledo SOUP event is June 22. Madison Avenue Collective, 1600 Madison Ave. toledosoup.com
