It is impossible to deny that young people in our society are a high-risk group for addiction. From tobacco to alcohol and other drugs, substance abuse is a very real danger for today's youth. Strengthening Families, a new program at Mercy Hospital, provides a forum for parents to address these risk-taking behaviors with their children. On Monday nights (November 25 – December 16), the class utilizes an evidence-based family skills training program that has proven to significantly reduce problem behaviors. Dinner and childcare provided.
