Vampires, romance and comedy are the main ingredients for Sara Dobie Bauer’s new book Bite Somebody, which hits shelves tomorrow, Tuesday, June 21. A Toledo native, Dobie Bauer earned a creative writing degree from Ohio University and currently resides in Northeast Ohio. The plot of Bite Somebody centers around newly-transformed vampire named Celia. Three months after being converting, Celia is not the sexy creature she desired herself to be. Rather, she is an awkward and lonely vampire. Her friend encourages her to just bite someone in order to solve her problems. Celia did not want to bite just anyone— it had to be someone special. Just when Celia thought she met the perfect person to bite and have a happy ending with, her creator returns to town. Meet the author during a special book launch party from 2-5pm on Saturday, June 25. Copies of her book will be available for $13.95 + tax. Stella’s Restaurant 104 Louisiana Ave., Perrysburg. 419-874-8360. Free
