The Toledo Express Airport is hosting an event to give those with special needs and those who are disabled the opportunity to travel through the airport and identify potential issues that they may face when going to the airport.
At the event, individuals will learn how to visit the ticket counter to receive a boarding pass, get screened through TSA, check-in at the gate, walk through the jet bridge and retrieve a bag at baggage claim.
The event is on Monday, Feb 19 at 1:30 pm at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport.

These events help ensure that the airport is able to comply with the The Air Carrier Access Act, a law that makes it illegal for airlines to discriminate against passengers because of their disability. Airlines are required to provide passengers with disabilities many types of assistance under the law, including wheelchair or other guided assistance to board, exit or connect to another flight; seating accommodation assistance that meets passengers’ disability-related needs; and assistance with the loading and stowing of assistive devices.
