There are a lot of reasons to create art, as creation gives us a part of the world we want. See artists’ responses to issues of water access, safety, power dynamics, institutional oppressive, the murder and incarceration of Black youth, the decay of urban infrastructure, and other topics during Re: Formation. Presented by the Gallery Projected, the Ann Arbor-based curatorial duo that brought the Wish List exhibit to Toledo last August. Opening Reception 5-9pm, Friday, August 1. Through August 30. On view: Noon-6pm, Thursday; Noon-8pm, Friday-Saturday; Noon-5pm, Sunday.
