The City of Toledo is actively seeking public input for its 2025-2029 Five-Year Consolidated Plan, which will guide investments in housing, homelessness services, economic development, public infrastructure, and community programs. This plan determines the allocation of federal funds from programs such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).Â
Residents are encouraged to participate by completing a 15-minute survey available on the city’s website. The deadline for survey submissions is February 15, 2025. Additionally, a series of public hearings will be held in March to gather further community feedback.Â
The city plans to release a draft of the plan on March 25, 2025, followed by a 30-day public comment period. After incorporating public input, the final plan will be submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on May 9, 2025.Â
