Drummer Brendan Canty and bassist Joe Lally, (Fugazi) join forces with guitarist Anthony Pirog for The Messthetics, a newly conceived trio. Pirog sails on the guitar, cruising over and through the heavy rhythm foundation of Canty and Lally, creating a heart-pounding improvisational pulse that shoots through to the gut. Toledo-based artists, Excellent Enemies and Violent Bloom open.
