Quickly becoming one of the most celebrated authors in Ohio, Martha Conway specializes in historical fiction with a strong humanist focus. On June 20, she released her latest novel, The Underground River, about a pair of cousins who join the abolitionist movement. Conway will read from her latest effort at the Maumee Branch Library and discuss the novel’s relationship with historical Ohio.
