Big Apple makeovers!

Do you need a reminder to appreciate every little thing you have? Check out the fascinating documentary Refugee Kids, about the students of the Refugee Youth Summer Academy. Run by the International Rescue Committee (which was founded by Albert Einstein), the Academy accepts 120 kids at a time from some of the most ravaged locales around the world and spends six weeks turning them into confident, savvy New Yorkers. This film takes on added weight in the wake of President Trump’s immigration policies. 6-8pm. Wednesday, June 21. $15.
