Travel back to the mid-18th century and listen to segments of William Blake’s literary work during Plein Air Poetry. Blake (1757-1827), a Romantic Age English poet, writer and painter, is a favorite of the Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa, the creator behind the Toledo Museum of Art’s current exhibition, Human Landscape (through November 6). The reading of Blake’s work is a special event inspired by the museum’s celebration of nature, art and language. 7-9pm Thursday, August 11.
