Big To Do: Family New Year

Want to party like it’s 1999 this New Year’s Eve, but you got a couple kids who can’t handle the late night? Hensville has you covered with their Family New Year’s Eve Party. Their secret? Hosting a party in the morning. While the kids have their faces painted, demand obscure balloon art to be crafted, jump around in the inflatables and play games, you can sneak off for a well-deserved drink and not feel bad about it. At noon, the “new year” is celebrated with a ball drop and an apple juice toast. The local mascots will be on hand to party with you, so expect hijinks. And of course, there will be an assortment of events throughout the day, so plant the kids with a babysitter and return in the evening for the more adult stuff. 10am-Noon. Saturday, December 31. Hensville Park, 28 N. St. Clair St., 419-725-4392. hensvilletoledo.com
