Waterhouse Bath and Kitchen Studio celebrated World Toilet Day with their annual Painted Toilets competition.

World Toilet Day is celebrated worldwide Nov. 19, to raise awareness for the global sanitation crisis.

This year, we’ve partnered with 11 talented artists and businesses to transform a plain porcelain throne into a stunning work of art!” Waterhouse Bath and Kitchen Studios wrote on the website.

People had a chance to cast their vote for their favorite toilet while raising money for a good cause. Each vote cost $1 and all proceeds were donated to clean water and sanitation through Water.org.

Voting was done in person and via Venmo.

“Your vote isn’t just about choosing the coolest toilet design,” Waterhouse Bath and Kitchen Studios wrote. “It’s about helping Water.org bring clean water and sanitation to millions who lack access to these basic human rights. Every dollar you donate makes a difference!”

Although voting is over, you can still donate to Water.org to raise money for clean water and sanitation.
