Carol Imes Luscombe, a prolific Toledo printmaker, imprinted a lesson of creativity on her daughter, Kathryn Kian. Now a San Francisco-based artist, Kain will return to her hometown to join her mother for an exhibition of collaborative works, Rushes, Sedges & Grasses. The mother-daughter exhibit of monotypes, that the duo worked on simultaneously, features local flora and the wetlands of southwestern Lake Erie. Join the family of creatives for opening night: 6-8pm, Friday, July 7. Through August 11.
