The Art Tatum Memorial Jazz Scholarship Concert returns to the University of Toledo with a performance by lauded jazz teacher Dan Haerle on Tuesday, Febru- ary 25. Haerle, who has served on the faculty of the Jazz Studies Division at the University of North Texas for 34 years, has published several jazz textbooks and performed with jazz legends such as Dave Liebman, Pat Metheny and the Clark Terry Quintet. The concert supports the Art Tatum Memorial Jazz Scholarship Fund, which benefits musically gifted undergraduate music majors of color.
