Sarah Potenza-Crossman might have the best female alt-country pipes out there. The Chicago-based vocalist/ guitarist/lyricist drives her working horse of a voice alongside a rootsy band that plays polished electric country-blues, sporadically scattering seeds of bluegrass, rock and indie along the way. The past year has given them a head full of steam, after sharing festival stages with Bonnie Riatt and Stevie Wonder. As the live shows and album catch more and more attention, they keep blazing a trail toward bigger and better things.  Don't miss them at a smaller venue — it's a blast.  10pm. 309 Conant St., Maumee. 419-893-7281. www.villageidiotmaumee.com
