A welcome outlet for Toledo’s cozy literary community returns as the inimitable Tara Armstrong launches a new series of public readings at the Glass City Café. The series runs on the third Friday of the next six months. While earlier readings have focused primarily on poetry, this time around the net has been cast wide, with each reading focusing on a different creative genre. May 18 will highlight horror, mystery, adventure and science fiction, while June 15 will focus on drama, poetry, short fiction and historical work. This series continues through November. If you’re interested in reading, get in touch with Tara at www.facebook.com/packinglistenclosed. 7-9pm,1107 Jackson St. 419-241-4519.
